Job Title: Ranger

Reports to: Starter / Head Golf Professional
Status: Part -Time Seasonal
Date: December 1, 2023
Summary: This position requires rangers to police the golf course, including pace of play, assist with golfers needs on the course and enforce and report club rules infractions to the Starter and/or Golf professional.
Job Requirements:
- Stock all golf amenities on the course, including waters.
- Assists with keeping the course free of debris and cleaning up where needed.
- Monitor the pace of play, communicating any issues with the Starter. Assist with tracking members play for billing purposes.
- Communicates with other Golf Department staff for flow of players, special needs and any problems that arise.
- Assist members with lost clubs, messages and other items from the clubhouse.
- Maintain a professional image at all times.
- Become and maintain certification is CPR and AED usage.
- Work with Starter to organize and start group play.
- Satisfactorily complete all other assigned duties.

Due to the nature of the Club industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the Club.
Safety Requirements
OSHA and Cal OSHA laws may require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties that have the potential of risk to your health and safety.
- Back support belt, protective gloves and eye protection may be required on some occasions
- Follow all safely policies and procedures
Employees will be trained in the proper use and care of assigned PPE. The Club provides the required PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective and/or damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your supervisor.
